How we handle your details.

When you send the contact form we receive: your name, email address, optional business name, what you're asking about, where the shoot would be (and an optional city or area), an optional start date, your message, and your confirmation that we may use these details to respond. We also record when it was sent.

Your browser also sends a random reference number with the form. It only stops the same inquiry from being saved twice if you press send again.

When you send the form, our server takes the network (IP) address the request came from and stores a one-way scrambled version of it (a hash) with your inquiry. We don't store the address itself. We use the hash only to limit repeated submissions from one connection (no more than 5 an hour) and still treat it as personal data.

The form also contains a hidden field that people don't see. If it is filled in, usually by automated spam, nothing is saved.

Only to read your message, reply to you and work out how we can help, including handling a request to cancel or change a plan. Sending the form doesn't buy a plan or book a shoot, and it doesn't subscribe you to marketing emails.

Inquiries are stored in a secured database provided by our website platform, which hosts this site and processes the data on our behalf. Only Really Easy Tech can view submitted inquiries, through a private admin area. Visitors to the website cannot view, list or change them.

Sending the form does not trigger any automatic email to you or to us, and the form is not connected to a mailing list, CRM or calendar. We check new inquiries by hand. When we reply, your inquiry and our conversation will also be kept in our business email.

We use the visitor statistics built into Lovable, the platform that hosts this website. They count visits and page views and show how long visits last, which websites or links visitors came from, and visitors' country and device type.

According to Lovable, these statistics measure overall traffic, not individual people. They set no cookies and store nothing in your browser, and Lovable doesn't build visitor profiles or follow anyone across separate visits. Each visit gets a random identifier that is discarded when the visit ends. Lovable collects this data itself, so no outside analytics service receives it.

We have not added Google Analytics, advertising or social media pixels, or any other tracking tools, and this website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Like any website, our hosting provider also handles standard technical request information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives similar request information when the fonts are fetched.

When you check out, we save your email address, business or creator name, the package and add-on you chose, your confirmation that the shoot is in the South Bay, the exact wording you agreed to and when, and a one-way scrambled version (hash) of your network address, which we use to limit repeated checkout attempts.

You then pay on the secure page of Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your payment details and billing information under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.

Stripe then tells us the outcome. We store Stripe's reference numbers for your customer record, plan and payments, the email you paid with, payment and invoice status and amounts, plan dates, any cancellation request, and any notice of a refund, dispute or fraud warning on a payment. We use this to confirm payment before scheduling work, to run your plan and its six-month minimum, and to handle cancellations and billing questions.

If you choose to sign in on the Manage your plan page, we email a one-time sign-in link to the address you enter, using our website platform's sign-in service. This creates a sign-in record with your email address. Signing in only shows plans, invoices and payments recorded for that same email. We don't send other emails this way.

"Update payment method" opens Stripe's secure page, where you can change your card and see invoices.

We do not sell or rent your data. It is handled only by the service providers that run this website, payments (Stripe) and our email, or disclosed where the law requires it.

There is no automatic deletion schedule. We keep an inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to manage any project that comes from it, and we delete it sooner if you ask. Payment, plan and consent records are kept for as long as we need them to run your plan, answer billing questions and keep business records; Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
